Firstline Defender Termite Defense System

More Wood Means More Effectiveness -
And Less Hassle - Guaranteed.

That's Money In Your Pocket - Not Theirs.

New Firstline Defender (Left)  Sentricon* (Right)

Protecting your home against subterranean termites used to be a high-cost overvalued process that left many homeowners wondering who won the battle - the pest control company or the termites ?  The problem was that most termite bait systems used small stations spaced close together to try and intercept the termites with the sheer number of stations present.  Lots of termite detector stations meant more maintenance, more management and more money - while not necessarily providing better control.  Small termite detector stations can empty out rapidly during heavy termite feeding sessions and an empty station means wasted dollars.

Introducing the new Firstline Defender Termite Defense System.  FMC Corp has pulled out all the stops and developed the largest termite detector station on the market.  Utilizing 4 (count them 4) large slotted pine termite detectors, the Defender unit boasts up to 5 times more wood in weight and volume than most of it's competition.  More wood means less chance of the termites emptying out the station.  More wood means that instead of placing your stations every 10 feet, you can place them every 15 - 20 feet and still get excellent results.  More wood means less hassle.  More wood means more effectiveness at detecting termites and less money.

Actual Size
5 1/2" wide by 8 1/2" deep
The Largest Termite Detector Available.

The Firstline Defender Unit measures a whopping 5 1/2" wide by 8 1/2" deep making it by far the largest termite detector station on the market.

The unique Army Green coloring matches well with most landscape and will blend
with most grasses and shrubs without being an eyesore.

Simple to install and simply to maintain, the Firstline Defender Unit makes detecting
and baiting subterranean termites a breeze.

Slotted Yellow Pine Means More Termite Feeding Ridges.

Termites are blind colorless creatures that live in colonies deep within the ground.  Termites are not attracted to wood - they just find it.  They find it by constantly foraging the soil just a few inches below the surface.  When termites find wood, they follow its edges to scope out its size, then they mark or "tag" it with a scent called a "pheromone".  More ridges on the wood means more places for termites to follow and a better chance that termites will "tag" it.  No ridges on the wood and more of a chance that the termites will simply leave and look for a new food source - possibly your home !

The Firstline series of termite bait stations including the Defender and the Smartdisc Locator, utilize slotted pine.  This unique detector is specially designed to encourage termite feeding.  Compared to the competition with only regular square wood, the slotted pine detector is slotted eight times on all sides.  Eight times more slots, eight times more termite feeding ability.

Termite Baiting Made Easy.

Termite baiting should be a simple process - not a process of dumping termites into a plastic bag and coating them with a toxicant and then pouring them back into the station.  Or knocking them out of the wood detector into a bucket and then pouring them into a sterile bait cartridge.  That's a complicated process questioned by many termite control experts.

With the Firstline Defender Unit, placing bait into the station is as easy as removing a wood detector and inserting Firstline/Terminate into the same hole.  That way the termites can easily transition over to the toxicant and begin their last supper !.

Advantages of The Firstline Defender Termite Defense System.

1.    Extra Large station. 4 slotted pine termite detectors, for a total of 32 feeding ridges.  That results in unsurpassed termite detection.

2.    Easy Placement.  Stations can be placed every 15 - 20 feet instead of every 10 feet resulting in easy checking and maintenance.

3.    Locking Lid.  Easy to remove locking lid.  Each Firstline Defender Unit has a lock in place lid.  A special key fits the lid.  This results in a security from animals, children or nosy neighbors.

4.    Easy Bait Placement.  When termites are found actively feeding, Firstline GT or Terminate stakes* can be easily inserted into the station.  This results in easy termite transition to the toxic bait material.

5.    Ownership.  Unlike Sentricon* and Exterra* that require long expensive service contracts that only lease you the stations, taking them away when you cancel their service, you own the Firstline Defender Units outright.  Replacement parts and detectors are available at a reasonable cost.

Why pay someone thousands of dollars to bait for termites when you can do it yourself more conveniently and effectively at a fraction of the cost ?

Firstline Defender Guarantee* - If you don't agree that the Firstline Defender is the best constructed and largest bait station on the market, we'll refund your money less shipping costs.
