Maxforce FC Fire Ant Bait is applied around the nest or spread over large areas such as lawns, parks, recreational areas, football and baseball fields, golf courses, etc. It applies at a very low rate of 1 - 2 lbs per acre making it a an economically yet effective way to control fire ants. The worker fire ants pick it up and carry it back to the nest. The active ingredient Fipronyl not only kills all the worker ants but also the queens resulting in an efficient but fast kill of the entire colony.
