When the KM Ant Pro unit is filled with bait and activated, a small quantity of bait is released into a feeding pool. As the ants consume the bait, the KM Ant Pro refills the feeding pool automatically. The KM Ant Pro offers a full 360 degree access to the feeding pool. The gravity feed reservoir provides enough bait to feed several ant colonies over a long period of time. Also, numerous species of ant and insects will feed at the stations at the same time.
The KM Ant Pro is weather tolerant and is also tamper resistant. It comes with an attachable stake to secure it to the ground so that it will not move or fall over.
To activate - fill the unit with liquid bait, attach the base and tighten firmly. Then rotate the bulb one half turn while holding the base in place. Then tighten the set screw.
To deactivate and move KM Ant Pro to a new location, loosen the set screw and rotate the bulb back to the closed position. Set the unit in the new location and re-activate. When the KM Ant Pro is regularly filled when empty, it will prevent re-infestations from occurring.
In Agricultural applications large areas can be treated with KM Ant Pro, without having to spread pesticides on crops and pastures where livestock live and graze. Orchards and harvesting areas will be much safer for workers and food will not be contaminated with pesticides. In agricultural applications, the cost of control for imported fire ants, argentine ants, white-footed ants and many other species of ants can be significantly reduced.
